FAQ's

How frequently should I have my dog groomed?

We recommend grooming dogs with slightly longer coats every 4-6 weeks to prevent matting and ensure optimal coat health.

What if I want to groom my dog every 3-4 months but keep the coat fluffy?

If you are committed to daily brushing and combing, the best solution within this timeframe is to trim your dog’s coat to a shorter length or come in for a Bath and Tidy to keep up with the maintenance.

My dog/cat is really matted, can you brush it out?

We prioritise your dog’s comfort over appearance. Depending on the severity of matting, we’ll assess the situation and recommend the best solution.

How long does the grooming process usually take?

Typically, grooming takes 1-2 hours, depending on your pet’s coat condition and temperament.

How should I bring my pet out to the truck on the day of my appointment?

Dogs should be in a collar/harness securely, and cats should be in a crate for safety.

Where would we like to park when we arrive?

We’d love to park in your driveway if there’s room—our 3,900kg truck needs a bit of space for the generator. If not, no worries! We’ll find a spot on the street where it’s safe and clear. Just let us know if there are any parking rules we should be aware of.

When is my next appointment?

We encourage immediately rebooking after every appointment as our availability is limited.

Can I stay with my pet during the groom?

For a smoother grooming experience, we recommend owners not be present, as pets tend to be calmer and better behaved without distractions.

What is the procedure if we find fleas on your pet?

If fleas are found, we will notify you and use our flea shampoo during the grooming session at an extra charge of $10. The flea shampoo aims to kill all fleas on the pet however areas in the home such as the pet bed and other places should also be treated to avoid reinfestation. A topical flea treatment is also recommended.

How can I book an appointment?

Bookings are available online through our website. Create an account and fill out your pet’s details, this will be saved for future appointments.

Will my pet be sedated?

We do not sedate pets. If your pet is uncooperative or uncomfortable, we may end the session.

Does my pet need to be fully vaccinated?

No, vaccinations are not required for our mobile service. For any concerns of diseases or viruses, we use “DELETE” which is a veterinary grade disinfectant to sanitise our workspace and tools used after each session. It kills all bacteria, viruses and fungi and is very safe to use.

When can I bring my puppy for its first groom?

It’s important to introduce grooming early. We recommend a wash and tidy for their first groom to acclimate them to the process.
